At Perfect Start Early Education in Capalaba, our Infant Program is designed for children from birth to 24 months.
We provide high levels of care and comfort in an environment that feels like a home away from home.

Our Nursery room is warm, safe, and welcoming, creating a soothing space for your little one. With educator-to-child ratios that meet the National Quality Framework standards, your child receives personalised attention and care.
We focus on early socialisation, helping infants begin to recognise sounds, sights, and develop early language skills. Our educators talk, read, and sing to the children regularly. As babies grow, we introduce interactive play with toys, blocks, and art materials like crayons and paper to encourage motor skills and creativity.
We also use music throughout the day to support language development and social interaction.

Our Pre-Kindy program in Capalaba, features extra-curricular activities like creative arts and music—at no additional cost to parents.
With a specialised music and movement teacher, children engage in activities that promote creative thinking, spatial awareness, musical exploration, and language development, including the use of Auslan sign language.
Through movement and singing, children are encouraged to express themselves and develop new skills.
We also connect children with nature through our gardening program, fostering a hands-on understanding of sustainability. This combination of indoor and outdoor learning helps children build a well-rounded foundation as they prepare for their schooling years.

Our team of experienced and qualified early childhood teachers delivers a flexible, holistic curriculum based on the Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guidelines and the Early Years Learning Framework. Each day, children engage in meaningful activities that introduce early concepts of STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics) alongside literacy, numeracy, arts, music, and physical development.
We believe in learning through hands-on discovery—whether it’s exploring the outdoors, creating in the art room, or engaging with interactive learning tools like whiteboards and science zones.
Children are encouraged to follow their interests and express themselves in a safe and stimulating environment, with activities tailored to their individual strengths.

Meet Miss Brook
My name is Brooke, and I am excited to be joining Perfect Start Capalaba in the role of Nominated Supervisor. I bring over 20 years of experience in the Early Childhood Education and Care sector, including many years as a Lead Educator and most recently as both a Nominated Supervisor and Educational Leader.
Throughout my career, I have remained deeply committed to creating environments where children feel safe, valued, and inspired to learn. I strongly believe that high quality early childhood education is built on respectful relationships with children, families, and educators. On a personal note, I am also a proud mother of three daughters, who keep me very busy outside of work. We love spending time camping and exploring new places.
What I love about Perfect Start
I am passionate about mentoring educators, strengthening teaching practices, and ensuring that our service aligns with the principles and outcomes of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards.
