Welcome To Perfect Start Birkdale Childcare Centres
Our goal at Perfect Start Birkdale Childcare Centres is to provide daycare facilities with a warm and nurturing environment for children to explore their natural curiosity, and learn through play. We have two Birkdale childcare centres, one in Birkdale Rd, and the other in Mary St. Both are a home away from home where we strive to provide a safe and loving space for your child to grow. We have a caring and professional team of educators who will support your child every step of the way on their journey. We pride ourselves on giving each child in our care a high quality experience through our wonderful staff and wide range of age-appropriate resources.
We are conveniently located near Birkdale Fair Shopping Centre in the beautiful suburb of Birkdale in Redland Bay. We are open from 6:15am to 6:15pm daily, except on public holidays. Our centres are well known for our wonderful team of friendly staff and our amazing natural outdoor playgrounds. We have an open-door policy and would love to show you around. Please drop by!
Approved & Trusted Daycare Facilities In Redlands Bay
Our Perfect Start centres are well-established and offer long daycare facilities. We also run a Queensland government approved kindergarten program. Our child care services also incorporates the 3a Abecedarian approach, one of the few evidence-based proven programs that integrates care, emotion and learning in a practical way as an important continually repeated activity across the whole day. We call this Enriched Caregiving. Perfect Start is also a certified Little Scientists Centre, with STEM being an important part of the early learning curriculum. Our team of professional educators at Perfect Start Birkdale Childcare, and Mary Street Childcare are committed to providing a supportive and nurturing environment for your child. Each of them are highly qualified and trained to help the children at our daycare facilities to realise their potential by becoming self-confident and capable learners. We understand that the most important aspect of a child care centre is the people who can give your child the best possible start in life. That is why we choose educators who are passionate about what they do and work hard to inspire and nurture the individual needs of each child.
PROGRAMS AT OUR BIRKDALE CHILDCARE CENTRE
At Perfect Start we believe that children should be encouraged to follow their natural interests and curiosity. Our curriculum is designed upon the Early Years Learning Framework, and provides play-based opportunities for your child to learn, discover and explore their environment. Our emergent curriculum is a constantly evolving response to the changing needs of the children in our daycare facilities, their parents and the community. As our educators get to know the interests of the children and collaborate with their parents on their development, they adapt the curriculum to build on the children’s strengths and interests. We provide for a balance of indoor and outdoor activities, and offer programs for Infants, Toddlers, Junior Kindy, Kindy and Kindergarten
OPEN DOOR POLICY AT PERFECT START BIRKDALE CHILDCARE
We have an open-door policy at Perfect Start for parents to visit their children at our Birkdale Childcare Centre and Mary St Centre. We welcome family participation and open communication in the service by encouraging families to engage with their children’s education and care. Families are invited to assist with projects and attend social gatherings. We understand that parents appreciate open communication and ensure that we provide this through the enrollment and orientation process to the daily program. We provide regular feedback through formal and informal meetings, emails and conversations, as well as documentation via Story Park. PROGRAMS AT OUR BIRKDALE CHILDCARE CENTRE
In addition to regular programming, we offer a wide variety of extra-curricular activities. We have a gardening program utilising our wonderful natural outdoor spaces, lessons in Spanish, Chess and Soccer. We are closely aligned with Birkdale school, and have regular library visits and participate in their sports carnivals, making the transition from Kindergarten to Primary School very easy for our little learners. We have other fun interactive programs involving music and movement, such as the cheeky monkey club, ginger sports, super kidz and itty bitty stars.
